Sneaked an hour at the bench, so a nice easy step the horizontal stabilisers attached to the fuselage. Wasn't in the mood to spray the engine, so picked an easy leisurely step. Happy New Year! Member since February 2012; From: Olmsted Depending of course on your definition of "New", the Tamiya 109E has been around for 25+ years so is not really new. You may be confusing it with the new Tamiya G. Im my opinion, the Eduard 109E series is by far the best as regards details and accurate look. It is probably not the easiest to build but I had no problem with mine. You have the paint too thick, which is why you have the overspray as you do, since you cannot tighten the brush tip sufficiently. The solution is: thin your paint 50-50. Thus, you can tighten the brush tip down sufficiently to get nice blotches and tight border lines between colors. xnmi. To me, it's a bit gimicky though with the interchangeable cowl settings. And we DON'T need yet another 109 G-6. I wish SOMEBODY would get a new Spit XIV out there. Looking forward to see what you do with it though. Tamiya 1/48 Bf-109G-6.
