I have been very ignorant of late and my Fabia is one example for this. I have found out some touch up marks om my fabia and now regret my decision for going for a Skoda. Please see below the pics. The central locking on my Fabia MKii TDI Greenline (Engine identifier code BMS) has quit working, some wires were shorting in the drivers door loom, and after taking a photo of the broken/damaged wires the central locking was no longer working. Neither the key or with the fob would activate the central locking system. I get two fault codes: 01288 - terminal 30, steering assist, signal too high. 01290 - reference voltage steering assist short (but can't be sure if it was to plus or to ground).
